She has worked with hundreds of authors through workshops, consultations, and conferences nationwide, and served as an instructor for Stanford Continuing Studies. She's the author of The Writer's Digest Guide to Magazine Article Writing and has written for The Writer, Writer's Digest, Alaska Magazine, and several Chicken Soup for the Soul books.
